Yes. You can lay the epoxy primer down. It will adhere great to the Fusion.

I have the rust seal down, I followed that with the Fusion SEP and now for added adhesion/protection I wanted to lay an epoxy primer before I top coat with an acrylic enamel.

Can I lay an epoxy primer over the Fusion and is there a particular epoxy you would recommend?

There is no maximum time for KBS Fusion Self-Etch Primer. The only issue is making sure it is grease free when you coat it.

You can find complete instructions here: http://www.kbs-coatings.com/Fusion-SEP-Information-Instructions_ep_42-1.html

That's hard to say without testing first. Any primer will bond before RustSeal cures completely (usually within the 3rd to 10th hour after application).

What is the maximum time that self-etching primer can cure without top coating? If I let it cure for a month or more, do I need to re-coat, sand, or scuff it before applying a top coat?
