<p>You would need to strip out that old sealer before using our tank sealer kit. In most cases that old sealer can be removed with a good paint stripper containing methylene chloride. We've had good success with a product called &quot;Dad's Easy Spray&quot; which is available at most Ace Hardware stores.</p>
<p>You can find complete instructions for the Gold Standard Gas Tank Sealer here: <a href="http://www.kbs-coatings.com/Gold-Standard-Tank-Sealer-Information-Instructions_ep_39-1.html" rel="nofollow">http://www.kbs-coatings.com/Gold-Standard-Tank-Sealer-Information-Instructions_ep_39-1.html</a></p>
<p>You can also find Instructional Videos here: <a href="http://www.kbs-coatings.com/KBS-Videos_ep_90-1.html" rel="nofollow">http://www.kbs-coatings.com/KBS-Videos_ep_90-1.html</a>

if my tank was previously done with a tank sealer that i know not which kind but it is reddish tan in color. can i use your product and redo this tank over once again? i had a gas leak at the outlet of the tank and i used jbweld to fix that and it seems to be working. now i have the tank stripped and i looked inside and it seems like i could do it all over again it may last longer. thanks
