Thanks! I'm going to spray it on pretty much the whole shell of the car. I'm going to do two coats then a coat of your primer. I've got to put the car in storage for awhile and want to make sure it's protected. I've used the RustBlast and can't say enough GREAT things about it. That stuff is amazing and combined with a power washer...WOW!! The rust doesn't have a chance!

The problem is the RustSeal cures two ways, by evaporation of the solvents that are in it (not much), and the resin cures with exposure to ambient humidity. If either or both are too high, it may cure too quickly, leaving brush marks.

If you thin it slightly (5%) that will slow it down as more solvent needs to evaporate out. Your suggestion to apply in the evening or even early morning when the temps are down is a good idea and should help alot.

I used the RustBlast two weeks ago but haven't been able to do the RustSeal due to the temp and humidity being higher than the application instructions on the can. Are 80 degrees and 60% humidty the absolute highest I can apply it in? What if I applied it in the evening when it's cooler? I really need to get this done but the weather isn't cooperating.
