Kreem is supposed to be dissolved with MEK. We use a MUCH better stripper than POR15 named Dad's Easy Spray and it takes care of Kreem. That POR stripper was probably old stuff too.

By the way, this is a KBS Coatings site definitely not a por-15 site, but we know POR offers really no support whatsoever therefore your questions will be handled appropriately.

I have an 86 zx1000 gas tank with a kream coat in it that has holes in it. I bout a POR-15 strip and seal kit. I used the stripper and it just softened the kream. I then bought a bottle of acetone. The acetone just softened also. I could only scape away the coat directly under the gas cap. Other than that spot it had no effect. The local radiator shop wont do it. Anyone know of a way besides these techniques to get rid of the coat that I can do myself??? Im looking to save money but Im really trying to get riding within the next two weeks!!!!
