I think that would be fine. This would be on the inside of the top (interior area) so an off white or not so bright would be preferred. Being that it is the inside of the top and not exposed to the outside elements, would it be fairly UV/fade resistant without the need of a topcoat?

Yes. You can do that. Please remember that the RustSeal Off-White is Off-White and is NOT a brilliant white. Also, if the RustSeal is going to be consistently exposed to UV rays, you will want to topcoat it.You can find complete instructions here: http://www.kbs-coatings.com/RustSeal-Information-and-Instructions_ep_38-1.html

I have a fiberglass top on my truck that is white on the inside, can Rust Seal in the white color be used on it to protect and freshen it up or would paint specifically for fiberglass be a better option/method.
