Should I apply Rust seal the same way to the painted, non rusted areas and top coat with with Satin Black like planned in the rusted areas?

The painted surfaces to not need to be etched with the RustBlast, but otherwise, it is the same. If the paint is super smooth, it would be a good idea to sand it.

Will the Rust Seal adhere to the painted areas with no rust?

If the paint is super smooth, it would be a good idea to sand it.

What prep would be needed in the non rusted areas in order for the Rust Seal/Top Coat to adhere properly?

You will want to use the AquaKlean and RustBlast to prep those areas.

You can find complete instructions here: http://www.kbs-coatings.com/RustSeal-Information-and-Instructions_ep_38-1.html

I am planning on doing the entire insides of my Blazer that is currently yellow. I want to use Rust Seal Silver on the floorboard that has some rust areas, but would also like to do the rear side panels, inner wheel wheels, etc that do not have rust, but have paint. The paint is not loose but I would like to have the insides of the truck all 1 color. I would then like to topcoat the entire inside with Satin Black Top Coat for a uniform finish.

My question is: Should I apply Rust seal the same way to the painted, non rusted areas and top coat with with Satin Black like planned in the rusted areas? Will the Rust Seal adhere to the painted areas with no rust? What prep would be needed in the non rusted areas in order for the Rust Seal/Top Coat to adhere properly?

I just would like to avoid taking the entire insides down to bare metal if possible. Thank you and I look forward to your reply.
