Sure, just allow the RustSeal to cure well then scuff with 80-100 grit paper and apply your filler.

I am restoring a 1951 Chevy Pickup and a friend suggested using a gloss black RustSeal on my freshly sandblasted parts. He says that the KBS RustSeal will act as a primer on the metal and the gloss black will make it easier to see all the metal problems for the body repair. Can you do body repairs over the KBS rustseal?
