  1. After using the Rust Blast there was some rust remaining in the tank. Should I reuse the Rust Blast or is it ok to seal with some rust remaining?

    Thanks.
  2. How long did you let the RustBlast soak on all sides of the tank?
  3. I actually followed the instructions exactly but did them twice. I wanted to be sure there would be no rust under the sealer. The tank was dried out with an air compressor then left over night to be sure it was dry. There is some rust left in the bottom and some flash rust in a few other areas (filler neck, etc).
  4. As long as the rust is not loose and flaky, just continue on with the Gold Standard Tank Sealer. Because you followed the instructions, you tank will turn out great.
  5. The rust does not appear to be loose or flaky.

    Thanks.
  6. You will want to proceed with sealing the Tank.

The rust remaining in my tank, after using Rust Blast for one hour, looks fairly thick but not loose. Do I dare proceed with the sealing? Can I reuse the Rust Blast?

    Thanks ..... Bill
